When does shaping occur?If your plan has shaping, shaping will be applied to your service automatically when you exceed your monthly data allocation. This may take up to 1 hour to take effect. You can remove shaping by purchasing additional quota allocations. Back to top |

I have just rolled over, why am I still being shaped?Just as the initial application of shaping on your account can take up to 1 hour, the removal of shaping can take the same amount of time. Generally however, you would expect to have shaping removed by 1am on your anniversary. If you've waited longer than 1 hour, try turning your router off for 35 minutes or calling us. Back to top |

How do I purchase more quota?If you have gone over your quota as a one off, you are able to purchase addition blocks of data to add to your account. You can do this through the MY ACCOUNT section of our website. If however you recognise that you will be constantly exceeding your given data allocation, you should probably upgrade your plan. We do not charge for change of plan. One notable exception is for adsl1 services in where there is a change of speed.Back to top |

What is shaping?Shaping refers to the forced reduction in speed which we apply to your internet connection. We do this when you have exceeded your download allocation as a way to ensure that you get a flat rate. So for example you cannot accidentally end up with a data bill costing you several hundreds or thousands of dollars. Back to top |
